Affari Nostro, the dark bay daughter of Endymion (Tapit) and Affari Sono Affari (Blueformer) held off the initial challenge of Taly's Man (Endymion) a pulled away in the stench to win the Clásico Simón Alfonso Pemberton-G3 by 10 easy lengths. RSA's Imperio (Blueformer - Sky Miss, by Robyn Dancer) gained in the stretch to take the second placing.
The victory gave her sire Endymion (Tapit) his first stakes-winner and gave her rider, apprentice Yeison Hernandez his first stakes win as well.
Affari Nostro's female line has been developed for years by Rancho San Antonio. In 2000 we purchased Cool Tune MD (USA) at the OBS sales and developed her into a Champion race mare. We located that mare's dam Cool Invader and purchased her privately and bred champions Glacially and Affari Sono Affari from the mare. Cool Tune MD then went on to produce multiple-stakes-winner Ana Tani making this family one of the most generous of recent years.
With the win Affari Nostro improves her lifetime record to 4 wins, 2 seconds and a third from 7 starts. All her victories have come in succession after her trainer Eugenio Deschamps and Juan Jimenez figured out her initial setbacks. The Establo La Aurora color-bearer now boasts lifetime earnings of DOP $346,380.
Affari Nostro was bred and sold by Rancho San Antonio.
