Racing Manager, Eugenio Deschamps Mella

Eugenio Deschamps was the perrenial Leading DR trainer until his self-imposed removal from the official race charts after the DR Racing Commissioner disregarded a split-sample negative. Since then the Eugenio Deschamps "supervised horses" have continued winning at the same rate under the name of Juan Jimenez, a long time assistant.

Eugenio was a unanimous inductee into the Caribbean Horse Racing Hall of Fame.

Trainer, Juan Jimenez

A childhood friend of Dr. Contreras, Juan Jimenez has worked in various countries and different areas of the horse racing industry. Mr. Jimenez was once a barn foreman for US classic-winning trainer Scotty Schulhofer, President of an equine transport company and is also active as the General Manager of our breeding operation.

Stable Veterinarian, Eugenio Deschamps Jr., DVM

Junior Deschamps joined the RSA Stable team in 2003. Junior is in charge of the specialized care and supervision of our string of runners. He also oversees the shoeing of equine athletes.

Junior trained with the famed Jose Garcia Blanco, DVM in Puerto Rico before returning to his homeland and is the son of Caribbean Hall of Fame Trainer & RSA Stable Advisor Eugenio Deschamps.
