RSA bred and sold GUAYACAN (Rationalexuberance – La Excelente, by Blueformer) won his maiden in his second try at the track in what was an impressive “tour de force” at Hipódromo V Centenario on August 1, 2015.

The colt went gate to wire in the 1,000-meter sprint and stopped the clock in 1:00 0/5 to win by 11 lengths over his nearest adversary. He was guided home by Victor Severino and is trained by Cleve O. Perez.

GUAYACAN’S  dam La Excelente was bred and sold to Osiris Bautista, the owner of Establo Moises, a perennial leading stable in Dominican Republic. She is a half-sister to classic-winning Champion ESTRUENDO and a ¾ sibling to stakes-winner AMOROSO (La Excelente is by Blueformer out of La Emperatriz, where as AMOROSO is by Sicótico {a son of Blueformer} out of La Emperatriz).

We expect many excellent runners from the cross of Rationalexuberance over Blueformer and Sicótico mares. The same cross is responsible for the very speedy and precious SAY A NOVENA (Songandaprayer {full-brother of Rationalexuberance} over a Dynaformer mare) who is stakes-winner in USA.
