Marvelous Queen continues to build upon her reputation as the finest Older Sprinter in Dominican Republic. This time she out-sprinted a field that included a top flight of sprint specialists to take home the prize and glory for her owners Cesar Prieto, Ricardo, Ramon and Angel Contreras.
The bay daughter of the Kentucky based stallion Daaher out of Hazimah, by Gone West posted swift fractions of :22 4/5, :45 4/5 and stopped the timer in 1:11 3/5. The filly was purchased in-utero at Keenland, and foaled and sold at Rancho San Antonio in Dominican Republic. Her owner's decided to send her to the US due to a racecourse closure in her homeland where she was placed in 2 starts. She was then sent to Puerto Rico where she was a multiple winner in open company before returning home.
She is trained by Eugenio Deschamps and Juan Jimenez, and was ridden by Hector Hernandez.
