Rancho San Antonio sired 2 year-olds are off to a sensational start in 2014 with all 4 of the Dominican Republic’s 2yo races to-date having been won smartly by progeny of our stallions in their racecourse debut. Another remarkable fact is that all 4 winners are by different stallions and all but one were bred and offered at auction by RSA.

The talented group debut winners comprises:

• Gotica de Miel: 2yo filly (Tango Tales – Odalsi, by Shooped). Heavily favored in her debut and she definitely lived up to the hype and demolished the field by 23 lengths. Bred by RSA and owned by Osiris Bautista. She is a half-sister to leading older horse El Menor (Rationalexuberance) and sired by fantastic sire Tango Tales (Tale of the Cat).  Race video highlighted above.
• Ansiosa: 2yo filly (Sicótico – Dixie Wildcat, by Forest Wildcat). Bet down as a 1/5 favorite, this half-sister to top sprinter Innamorati won by nearly a pole. Bred by RSA and owned by Establo La Aurora of Cesar Prieta, Ramon and Ricardo Contreras. Click for prior article and race video.
• Circunspecto: 2yo colt (Incomunicato – La Maravilla, by Three Wonders). This 1 length debut winner is the only foal sired by his champion sire Incomunicato a winner of 40 lifetime races out a Champion Imported 2yo Filly. • Aventura: 2yo filly (Blueformer – Semblanza, by Favorite Band). This debut favorite sprinted away neatly to overpower the field by a very comfortable 6 lengths completely in hand. The filly by Leading Dominican Sire Blueformer (Dynaformer) is the product of 3 generations of RSA bloodlines, her grandam and dam were Champions bred by RSA.
