RSA bred and sold TANGO DANCER won his first start by daylight at the Hipodromo V Centenario. The Establo La Aurora purchased the flashy bay with four white socks at the RSA 2014 Yearling Sale.

After breaking through the gate a bit, slow, the handsome son of TANGO TALES out of the Green Dancer mare LET’S DANCE AGAIN, gained momentum after the first furlong and drew alongside the leaders, gaining control soon after, while posting splits 23 4/5, 48 4/5, 1:07 2/5 under the gentle handling of Hector Hernandez. The colt is under the expert care of Juan Jimenez and Eugenio Deschamps.

His sire TANGO TALES is off to a sensational start at stud after just a few small test crops. Out of 6 runners, he has 6 winners, 3 G1 winners and 4 stakes-horses. These include GOTICA DE MIEL (1st Clasico de Criadores Version Potrancas-G1, 1st Copa Dia de Duarte-G3), EXOTICA (1st Clasico de Criadores Version Potros-G1), ESMERALDA (1st Clasico de Criadores Version Potrancas-G1),  and Time to Tango (multiple G1 stakes-placed).

TANGO DANCER is a half-brother to the talented but unlucky graded stakes winner LOCURA, who won the Copa Dia de Duarte-G3 against colts in January of 2014 and has been kept from the starting gate due to series of lameness issues.
